Unknown heroes
There is a huge list of unknown heroes in aviation world, whose great deeds are often consigned to oblivion. Same thing happens also in scale modeling world: all those decals, photoetched parts, resins, all those kits that we enjoy so much have been thought, designed and manufactured by people giving their best every day to make our hobby exist, grow and become even more interesting. They are our unknown heroes :)The new products that our beloved heroes brought this week come in the shape of photoetched parts sets from Eduard Big ED series for the P-47 in 1/48 scale and the Spitfire Mk IX in 1/32 scale by Tamiya. And also in different scales, a few sets for the A-4 by Trumpeter, the P-61 by Hobby Boss, and Hasegawa P-47, Spitfire Mk IXc and Phantom.
A few decorations including decals and masks in 1/48 scale by the unknown heroes at Montex Masks, for decorating the P-40, P-47, Storch and the gorgeous Mustang.
And coming from the far east, the 1/72 scale Lancaster by Hasegawa, that has dethroned indeed the old Revell and Airfix kits.
